Day 1. Isandlwana & Fugitives' Drift.
Head inland towards the famous battlegrounds where your expert Battlefield guide will recount the 1879 battle of Isandlwana. Visit Fugitives' Drift where those who fled Isandlwana were killed and Rorke's Drift, a battle site which saw 11 Victoria Crosses awarded, more than in any other engagement. Day 2. Spioenkop.
After breakfast, make your way to the summit of Spioenkop Mountain. It is from here you will learn the events of this tragic battle between Boer and British. After lunch, leave the bloody battlefields behind and arrive into Durban in the late afternoon. (BL)
