Fugitives Drift is situated within a 2,500 hectare nature reserve, on a wooded hillside above the Buffalo River. Abundant in wildlife, this natural heritage site is 5 hours from Johannesburg and 3 hours from Durban by car. Within the reserve are Fugitive’s Drift Lodge and the Guest House.

The Lodge is the original establishment and features 8 luxury ensuite rooms, each with a private veranda.The beautiful garden, home to many birds, contains a large secluded swimming pool. The 3 bedroom annex cottage has 2 bathrooms and a sitting room.

The Guest House is smaller but more intimate with 6 luxury en-suite rooms. The Rattray family own both properties and the Zulu Warrior memorabilia throughout both is testament to their love of South Africa, its people and its unique history.
