Set within 7,500 malaria free hectares, 45 minutes northeast of Port Elizabeth, Lalibela blends the charm of authentic Africa with warm and friendly service. Within the reserve are 3 separate and very different camps.

Tree Tops is a luxury tented camp set high amongst the trees with spectacular views over the valley. All 4 rooms, with their canvas walls and thatched roofs, have huge window areas and give guests the feeling of being right in the bush.

Lentaba Lodge features 8 secluded thatched chalets each with a private observation deck to make the most of the valley views. The outdoor “boma” has a commanding view of a waterhole, which is spot lit after dark for night game viewing.

Marks Camp, decorated in a relaxed Pan-African style, sleeps up to 20 guests in 4 individual chalets and 3 family chalets. As each family is different and children require varying degrees of attention, the emphasis at Lalibela is to be as flexible as possible. Due to its location this game reserve is ideal for those wanting to combine a family safari with the Garden Route.
