Camping
Australia’s holiday parks and campgrounds generally offer superb facilities and great value for money with a choice of powered or non-powered sites. We recommend calling ahead to pre-book a site during high season as campsites can fill up quickly.
When it comes to freedom camping, each state and territory in Australia has different rules around where this is permitted. We suggest that you contact the nearest Visitor Centre about freedom camping in a particular location.
However, there are numerous National Parks and Reserves throughout Australia where camping is permitted although passes or permits are usually required. Facilities, if provided, are often basic but your Kea Camper is fully equipped and certified self contained which allows you to enjoy the delights of freedom camping where available.
