For three weeks only beginning in March 2012 one of the greatest operas ever written is performed on a shimmering stage, afloat on Sydney Harbour.
La Traviata is one of the world's best and most popular operas, composed by the great Giuseppe Verdi. This devastatingly romantic story is told using some of the most recognisable tunes in classical music. When Verdi's magnificent music is combined with the spectacular location, incredible set and beautiful voices of Opera Australia's best, you can be sure that you will be treated to a night out that you won't soon forget.
