Crossing three states, one of the world’s largest deserts and traversing the longest stretch of straight railway on the planet, 299 miles without a bend in sight, this historical train, as the name implies links two oceans in one phenomenal journey. Departing twice weekly the Indian Pacific takes you from the spectacular Blue Mountains of New South Wales through the historic settlement of Broken Hill to Adelaide before setting out across the treeless plains of the Nullarbor to gold-rich Kalgoorlie and onwards to Perth.
