Arnhem Land, at the eastern section of the top end of The Northern
Territory,
belongs to the Aboriginal people and much of it remains
mysterious and unknown to outsiders. Naturally this wild, raw,
spectacular land is special in the hearts of the indigenous people and
is rich in their culture. Much of it is barred to independent
travellers and where visiting is allowed, a permit is required.
