You will be met at your accommodation in Adelaide or McLaren Vale and transported in luxury by personal wine guide to the top of Willunga Hills, to gain an overview of the McLaren Vale wine region. From here visit the village of Willunga and pause for morning tea before progressing on to Fox Creek Wines, the first boutique winery.
Next visit the cellar door of Penny’s Hill to review the portfolio of premium wines, then move next door to their award winning restaurant. Join your wine guide for a superb leisurely lunch accompanied by wine from this producer. After lunch visit the cellar door of Pertaringa which produces a small range of premium red wines, set amongst the Willunga foothills.
Before returning to your accommodation you may also visit the cellar doors of Gemtree and Dowie Doole. Here you sample a range of multi award winning wines, complemented with local cheese.
