This small group touring experience will focus on the natural wildlife, excellent food and wine and is hosted by informative guides that have a wealth of experience.
Day 1:
Immerse yourself in the tall eucalyptus trees and spot koalas snoozing high in the branches. After morning tea, search for wallabies and kangaroos in the wild. Later, watch for sealions playing in the surf and learn about their unique breeding biology.
Overnight: Kangaroo Island.
Day 2:
Depart for Flinders Chase National Park, home to a diversity of wildlife and plants. At Cape du Couedic, visit a fur seal colony and the lighthouse, which plays a vital part in protecting sailors from the treacherous waters. The huge granite sculptures that make up the Remarkable Rocks are impressive geological structures that appear to be precariously perched on the cliff edge. The remainder of the day is spent spotting wildlife while slowly making your way back to the airport.
From £727 per person, twin share including 1 nights accommodation, return flights from Adelaide, lunch and dinner on day 1, breakfast and lunch on day 2 and guided touring.
