On arrival, a hot evening meal will be served over some friendly introductions before settling into a relaxing night around the campfire or in your cabin. The following morning embark on an informative guided hike that takes you high above the valley floor inWhite Man Pass to a secluded unnamed lake. Experience spectacular views from lofty ridges above tree line and varied terrain, including marshy wetlands, scree slopes, and river beds. In the evening, relax at optional campfire gatherings and listen to stories of the land, or soak in the outdoor, wood-fired hot tub with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. There is an elder on site for clients to visit. On your final day in the beautiful wilds of Kootenay, make the most of your time with a half-day hike to a lofty mountain ridge beneath towering Tangle Peak. Take in the great sights of the surrounding mountain peaks, including Mt Assiniboine. These ridges are often visited by mountain goats, deer and Golden eagle, so keep your eye out for wildlife on this secluded trail.
