Explore the rugged west coast of British Columbia and the prairie lands of Alberta and take an iconic ferry journey up the Inside Passage from northern tip of Vancouver Island to the ‘city of rainbows’ Prince Rupert.

Vancouver
Renowned as one of the world’s most beautiful cities, it is the perfect introduction to this pristine and diverse province.With sophisticated shopping, international cuisine, untamed wildlife and towering peaks, there really is something for everyone here. A two-hour guided nature tour by zodiac, showcases the unique marine wildlife before a wonderful dining experience overlooking Horseshoe Bay. An exciting seaplane flight will return you to downtown Vancouver.
3 nights: Fairmont Pacific Rim

Vancouver to Victoria
Transfer by coach and ferry, or if you prefer by seaplane, to Victoria. This charming city is capital of the province and filled with colonial buildings, museums, art galleries and magnificent gardens. Afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress, an elegant hotel that captures the grandeur of a bygone era, is a must! The city offers an abundance of attractions but a whale watching tour and a visit to Butchart Gardens should not be missed.
3 nights: Fairmont Empress

Victoria to Port Hardy
Travel north today on the island highway to Port Hardy, on the northern point of Vancouver Island. A stop is made at Brentwood Bay, overlooking the Saanich Inlet. Continue on to Duncan in the heart of the Cowichan Valley to view the towns collection of 80 totem poles. Further north is Chemainus, “the city of murals” where there is time to explore this unique town and for photos. After a lunch stop, the scenic route along the shoreline through Qualicum Beach and onto Campbell is followed. You will be dropped at your hotel in Port Hardy and transferred the following morning to the BC Ferry Terminal to board the vessel departing for Prince Rupert.
1 night: Port Hardy

Inside Passage
Experience the stunning natural beauty and pristine grandeur of the Inside Passage on the 15 hour voyage with BC Ferries from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. See panoramas of unsurpassed natural beauty with snowcapped mountains, jagged fjords, and fishing villages. Keep an eye out for orcas and seals playing in the waters and bald eagles circling the skies. Services onboard include a dining room, licensed lounges, gift shop and many seating areas.
1 night: Prince Rupert

The Skeena to Jasper
Early in the morning board the Skeena train to Prince George. The Skeena is named after the Skeena River, which the train follows for much of the journey. Your route takes you through some of British Columbia’s most dramatic scenery and the train offers an unparalleled viewing platform.Wildlife such asbear, moose, elk, deer, wolves, coyotes, eagles, hawks and seals may be seen as you travel the 1,160 km from the north Pacific Coast to the Rockies.
1 night: Prince George

Continue south to Jasper and the Rockies. Pass Mount Robson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies and see the mighty Fraser River, the longest river in British Columbia. The crest of Yellowhead Pass marks B.C - Alberta border and is the highest part of the route before arriving into Jasper.

Jasper
World-famous for skiing, hiking and outdoor sports, Jasper attracts tourists from around the world and is said to be among the country’s most photographed places. Jasper National Park is a wildlife sanctuary and it is common to see all sorts of wild animals in their natural habitat. Elk and mule deer often wander the main street of the town. Discover the view from above on the Jasper Tramway, the longest aerial tramway in Canada. At the summit take in the incredible views and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. Afterwards, relax at the Insignia Spa, which offers a wide range of treatments which bring a sense of peace and well-being.
3 nights: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

Jasper to Lake Louise via the Icefields Parkway
To travel the Icefields Parkway is to experience one of Canada’s national treasures. Stretching 230km between Jasper and Lake Louise, the parkway offers easy access to one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes on earth and a vast wilderness of magnificent peaks, ancient glaciers, pristine mountain lakes and broad sweeping valleys. An exciting ride onboard the Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier has been included as you travel south to Lake Louise.

Lake Louise
Lake Louise, with its blue-green water, set against the stark backdrop of Victoria Glacier, is probably the most photographed scene in the Rockies. Romantic and relaxing, the pace in Lake Louise attracts people who want to savour the finer things of life; a good book in front of a fireplace, the stillness of the outdoors, or a quiet walk after dinner. Chateau Lake Louise presents lake-side views of the towering Victoria Glacier and offers world charm and elegance amidst the wilderness. The lower village of Lake Louise holds an array of fine dining and shopping. A tour to the beautiful shores of Moraine Lake is included.

Lake Louise to Banff
Banff adventures bring you face to face with nature. Marvel at majestic wild animals, inspiring wild spaces, jagged mountain peaks, and thickly forested alpine valleys. Discover the town of Banff and its unspoiled natural surroundings. Highlights of the tour are the hoodoos, curiously shaped by centuries of erosion, Surprise Corner, Tunnel Mountain Drive, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Bow River Valley and the Cave & Basin where Banff’s history began.
2 nights: Fairmont Banff Springs

Banff to Calgary
Calgary is Canada’s most dynamic city and sits in an area of foothills and prairie. Visit the Canada Olympic Site or see the view from the top of the Calgary Tower. It retains much of its traditional western culture and is the centre for country music in Canada and often referred to as the ‘Nashville of the North’. The Fairmont Palliser is a historic hotel located in downtown area.
