Travel the legendary roads of the North, the Alaska Highway, North Klondike Highway and the Dempster on this small group tour.
Day 1: Whitehorse
You will be met on arrival at Whitehorse airport and transferred to your overnight hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore, although there will be a welcome meeting where you will meet your guide and other tour guests.

Day 2: Dawson City
LeavingWhitehorse behind for the first leg of your adventure which takes you to Dawson City. See the Five Finger rapids, cross the mighty Yukon River and the Pelly and Stewart River. The evening is free to explore the boardwalks of this famous gold rush city.
2 nights: Aurora Inn
Day 3: Dawson City
Home of the Klondike Gold Rush, arguably the greatest gold rush the world has ever seen, Dawson City plays host to a wonderful cultural and historical legacy. Today sees you exploring the gold fields, drive the Dome Road and visit a number of gold mines, you can also try your hand at panning for gold. This evening enjoy the spectacle of Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Casino.
Day 4: Eagle Plains
Prepare for a day of stunning scenery and immense landscapes. The journey takes you through Tombstone Territorial Park, memorable for its black granite peaks, alpine lakes and sub-arctic tundra and several mountain ranges, before a late afternoon arrival in Eagle Plains.

Day 5: Inuvik
This morning your journey continues north crossing the Arctic Circle. Continue through the Richardson Mountains, the northernmost peaks of the Rockies and on to Fort MacPherson, built as a trading outpost in 1849. Your destination this evening is Inuvik, land of the midnight sun and located just 2 degrees above the Arctic Circle.
2 nights: Arctic Chalets
Day 6: Tuktoyuktuk
Travel by small aircraft toTuktoyuktuk, on the shores of the Beaufort Sea (Arctic Ocean) to experience life with the Inuit. Accessible only by plane in the summer and by ice road in the winter this community is largely untouched. Get a glimpse into the traditions and cultures of the Inuit and perhaps dip your toe in the Arctic!
Day 7: Inuvik to Whitehorse
There is time this morning to explore Inuvik and talk to some of the locals about life in this remote region before heading back to Whitehorse. Your journey back is by air enabling you to truly appreciate the vast expanse of the Western Arctic interior. Transfers are included to your hotel for one last dinner.
