Day 1 Whitehorse to Upper Labarge Lodge On arrival, enjoy a tour of the SS Klondike before transferring onto the Yukon River for a scenic cruise by riverboat to Upper Labarge Lodge. The lodge provides a luxurious stop in the wilderness in which to completely relax. 2 nights Upper Labarge Lodge (FB).
Day 2 Upper Labarge Lodge Explore Lake Labarge and take either a leisurely walk through the Ta’an First Nations village, or a more challenging hike and mountain bike ride to the ridges above. Enjoy a bird scouting jaunt, fishing or kayaking.
Day 3 Upper Labarge Lodge to Homestead Lodge Travel by riverboat and kayak some of the way down the “Thirty Mile” section of the Yukon River. Later, enjoy a floatplane flight over the Yukon River to Homestead lodge which affords the opportunity to experience wilderness river history as it was over a century ago. 2 Nights Homestead Lodge (BD).
Day 4 Homestead Lodge Explore the historic site of Fort Selkirk, a former trading post on the river.
Day 5 Homestead Lodge to Wilderness Outpost Travelling by riverboat experience nature first hand as you cruise a truly wild section of the river - the wildlife viewing is exceptional. At Wilderness Outpost the tented cabins offer welcome creature comforts and fine food in a stunning location. Overnight Wilderness Outpost (FB).
Day 6 Wilderness Outpost to Dawson City Journey upstream by riverboat towards Dawson City. There will be plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities along with a delicious shore lunch. 2 nights Dawson City (FB).
Day 7 Dawson City Explore the many historical, cultural and natural attractions of Dawson City and the surrounding area with your guide.
Day 8 Dawson City The end of your great river journey.
