Day 1
Arrive at Matahui Lodge. Relax in the luxurious surrounding or wander through the 6 acres of manicured grasslands & vineyards.Enjoy pre dinner drinks before heading to a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 2 - Kiwi Dundee Tour (B,L,D)
Your Kiwi Dundee Adventure Guide will take you on a delightful day including a great chance to experience the local life way of life in this progressive region of New Zealand.Your day will include a visit to a genuine working horticultural orchard with kiwifruit, avocados and export flowers - a fascinating glimpse at one of New Zealand’s major export industries.
A Stop at the mural town of Katikati, famous for its open-air art painted by top New Zealand artists. Enjoy the variety of little shops including locally made art and crafts. Jan from Kiwi Dundee Adventures received a medal from Queen Elizabeth for her work here.
A delicious lunch at a local winery.
In the northern Bay of Plenty we visit Waihi beach for some wonderful photography from an old Maori Pa site looking out over the whole Bay.
To complete this day of variety, wonderful scenery, a visit to Mt Maunganui to walk on the golden sand beach of this wonderful surfing beach with its volcano and off-shore islands before returning to your luxury accommodation to continue your New Zealand holiday, where your Kiwi Dundee Guide will bid you a sad farewell.

Day 3 - Waimarino Glowworm Tour (B,D)
The day is free for you to do as much or as little as you desire.
The Bay of Plenty's arts and crafts culture has been growing strong in the past few years. Take some time to browse through art markets, local shops or artists' studios to learn about the local art on offer.

There are many specialty food outlets, restaurants and cafes to tempt your taste buds. A visit to the Prenzel Heaven Tasting room in Tauranga is a must.

Early evening head into Tauranga for your Glowworm Tour.
Relax on the edge of LakeMcLaren, watching the swans and ducks go about their evening’s preparations. Let our guides lead you onto calm LakeMcLaren at dusk. Gently paddle into the night and discover the magic of the enchanting glowworm canyon.

Your tour inclusions:
Fully guided and transported from Waimarino.
Double sea kayaks, paddles, spray decks, buoyancy aids, fleeces and paddle jackets all included.
Approx. 1½-2 hour paddle (3½ hour tour).

Day 4 (B)

Hidden Valley Explorer Tour – Aerius Helicopters
For the ultimate adventure head into MountMaunganui and join Aerius Helicopters for a tour of the thermal area.
Take off over native forest, lakes and rivers towards awe-inspiring and sacred MountTarawera. View the massive rift in the mountain caused by its violent eruption in 1886 – an eruption that buried whole villages and destroyed the 8th wonder of the world. We continue our journey south, heading for ‘the hidden valley’ – the mystical Orakei Korako geothermal reserve. Explore this geothermal wonder (with its boiling mud pools, steaming lakes and leaping geysers) at your leisure. This package also includes a short, scenic boat transfer to the Orakei Korako ('the hidden valley'). On our return, we fly over the city of Rotorua and the sparkling lakes that give it its name.
