Day 1

Day 2 - Elephant Hill Estate & Winery wine & food extravaganza (B,D)
Elephant Hill Estate & Winery is an impressive and innovative contemporary new winery and restaurant complex built on the Te Awanga coast. Elephant Hill has quickly developed a reputation for producing premium quality single-estate wines in their distinctive coastal style. Start at 4.30pm by meeting the winemaker, Steve Skinner, and receiving a guided tour of the winery. Follow that with a personalised wine tasting at their impressive cellar door and then a three-course dinner including a bottle of wine in the restaurant with views of the beautiful CapeKidnappers.

Day 3 - Art & Design Tour (B)
A personalised art tour of leading Hawke's Bay art galleries and design stores including direct access to gallery owners and private stock rooms. A number of New Zealand's leading art practitioners are based in Hawke's Bay and there is also a healthy furniture design scene led by world-renowned David Trubridge. The tour starts after lunch and culminates in a "wine & design" experience at the Esther Diamond showroom in Ahuriri, Napier. Esther Diamond is a sister company of Millar Road and produces all of the screen printed cushions, bed linen, tea towels, napkins and lamp shades featured at Millar Road and Esther's Place. Day 4 - Free Day (B)
A day free to explore Napier and surrounds. HawkesBay is a region of contrasts and offers something for everyone. The Art Deco heritage created after the devastating 1931 earthquake is fascinating to explore, while Maori history is rich and exciting. Food, art and wine trails meander right across the district. Attractions including the National Aquarium, Marineland and SplashPlanetWaterPark, while those wanting a slower pace can soak in Napier’s Ocean Spa hot pools, overlooking the Pacific. Long empty beaches and rugged ranges offer excellent walking and tramping opportunities.

Day 5 Maori Culture (B)
Recognising that travellers have different desires, expectations and comfort factors around cultural experiences, your experience would be planned and tailored with your requirements in mind. Working with Waimarama Maori Tourism, your experience could range from a fully organised tour to a walk with the ancestors to a visit to eel breeding grounds to an informal welcome at the summit of Te Mata Peak and a telling of the legend surrounding the peak. You decide. This is a half day tour and "koha" (donations) towards Waimarama Maori Tourism's community are gratefully received.

Day 6 (B)
After a delicious breakfast, it is time to say farewell and continue on your journey
