Journey of Ages is set within the Classical Pre-European Maori Period (around 1350AD) and follows the true story of a family of first born sons, chosen to be Warlords amongst their people. Since their arrival from the Pacific Islands, these new comers to the land have toiled and struggled to adapt to the new environment. From the moment you are collected from your accommodation, the experience begins as you immerse yourself into the history and genealogy of this powerful and moving story, This award winning evening encounter spans 3˝ hours and includes an in-ground Hangi meal.

You may choose to continue the story in Christchurch at Tamaki Heritage Village -Lost in our Own Land is set within the Colonial period offering a true encounter of colonisation as it shares a story of one people, torn between two worlds during the 1800's. During this interactive evening you will experience for yourself the impact of a rebel faction of musket wielding warriors wreaking havoc upon their own people. It culminates in a traditional colonial roast buffet, with an optional hangi inclusion.
