Heli-Hiking from Bluff & Stewart Island
An awesome scenic flight including a remote beach landing is a spectacular way to start your walk on one of Stewart Island’s legendary tracks. Fly to Mason Bay where you'll have a chance to explore before walking through to Freshwater Landing (3-4 hour unguided walk). You have the option to stay in either Mason Bay or Freshwater hut overnight and there are Kiwi spotting opportunities around both locations. You will be picked up by water taxi from Freshwater Landing and transferred back to Golden Bay.
