Day 1: UK – Seattle
Fly British Airways from London Heathrow to Seattle. On arrival make your way to your downtown hotel for a two night stay. Seattle is a refreshing city, home to the birthplace of Starbucks coffee shops. Explored easily by foot, you’ll find great restaurants, bars and wonderful attractions including the Space Needle, one of the city’s most striking landmarks.

2 nights: Roosevelt Hotel, Seattle

 

Day 2: Seattle
Today is free to explore Seattle at your own pace. Prebookable city tours can be arranged to help you get familiar with the city and the key sights. Ride to the top of the Space Needle for fabulous views of the city, ocean and beyond.  No visit to Seattle will be complete without a visit to Pike Place Market, which has a colourful personality with market stalls selling local produce and where you can watch the friendly fish throwing vendors, pure fun!

 

Day 3: Seattle
This morning is free for further time to explore Seattle before you make your own way to the port to embark on the Norwegian Jewel. Take time to settle in your cabin in readiness for your late afternoon sailing.

Day 4: Cruising Alaska’s Inside Passage
Cruise the calmed and sheltered waters of the Inside Passage today past thousands of bays and islands that hug the coastline of this majestic, untamed wilderness.

 

Day 5: Cruising to Ketchikan
This morning, arrive in Ketchikan, Alaska’s southernmost outpost, a fishing, timber and mining town with a row of restored buildings, which is also home to the world’s largest collection of totem poles. It is surrounded by the 17 million Tongass National Forest, so there is no shortage of adventure on offer.

 

Day 6: Cruising to Juneau & Sawyer Glacier
Dock at the beautiful capital of Alaska, Juneau, accessible only by sea and air, with snow-capped mountain peaks and a bustling waterfront. Take an optional trip to nearby Mendenhall Glacier or take an exhilarating whale watching cruise. This afternoon explore Tracy Arm Fjord, perched at the head of Tracy Arm is the awe-inspiring Sawyer Glacier

 

Day 7: Cruising to Skagway.
Arrive in Skagway in time for breakfast, the pioneer city made famous by the Yukon Goldrush and the starting point for the famed Chilkoot Trail. Take an optional journey aboard the historic White Pass and Yukon Railway. Depart Skagway late afternoon.

 

Day 8: Cruising the Pacific Ocean.
Cruise the Pacific Ocean today, a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the vast facilities onboard ship.

 

Day 9: Cruising to Victoria
This afternoon arrive in Victoria on Vancouver Island. Enjoy your time here, walking around the harbour and watching the floatplanes glide across the calm harbour waters or visit some of the interesting museums. For a special treat if you have time indulge in afternoon tea at the famous Fairmont Empress hotel.

 

Day 10: Arrive Seattle.
Disembark the cruise ship this morning and make your way to your downtown hotel. Enjoy one last day in Seattle perhaps doing some last minute sightseeing and shopping.

Overnight: Roosevelt Hotel, Seattle.

Please note you may not be able to check-in to your room at the Roosevelt hotel until late afternoon, although the hotel will be able to store your luggage.

 

Day 11: Seattle – UK
Enjoy your last day in this wonderful city before transferring by yourself to the airport for your British Airways overnight flight in the UK.
