Caring for the environment – one step at a time
The health of the environment is of concern to everyone and we at Tailor Made Travel take our responsibilities seriously with a commitment to sustainable tourism that does its best to conserve and protect the world’s resources. Over the last few months we have launched a company wide drive to address the environmental impact of the way in which we conduct our daily activities. We have put practises into place to reduce our waste, power usage and to use environmentally friendly products and recycled paper in our day to day lives wherever possible. We continue to work closely with our green partners both at home and abroad seeking new working relationships to improve on our environmental commitment.

We are also now encouraging all our clients to offset their carbon emissions through a partnership with Carbon Footprint Ltd. The money paid contributes to projects which reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere thus offsetting the fuel emissions from air travel which contributes to global warming.

Tailor Made Travel's Keen to be Green

Tailor Made Travel is making a contribution to a 'greener' way of doing business, with the aim to minimise our impact on the environment and generally doing what we can to be 'green'.

We are working with a range of selected accommodation, tour companies and experiences in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, South Pacific and Canada, who are making a genuine effort to work in an environmentally responsible manner.

Clients have the opportunity to book part or fully 'green' itineraries for their next holiday, by opting to stay in a 'green' hotel or be part of an environmentally friendly activity on your holiday.
