Day 1 - Private guided transfer from Lima to Paracas including the Pachacamac ruins. (Distance Lima to Paracas: 261 Km) On the way to Paracas visit the ancient adobe ruins of Pachacamac, a pre-Inca temple dating from AD 600-900, noted for its great pyramidal. The site also includes a museum with an interesting collection of pre-Hispanic relics. On arrival in Paracas transfer to the hotel and in the afternoon, visit Lagunillas and the "Mirador de Lobos" in the Paracas National Reserve.
Day 2 - Morning Excursion to the Ballestas Islands and private guided transfer from Paracas to Nazca including the Ica Museum and Winery en route. (Distance Paracas to Nazca: 210 Km) An early morning transfer for a motorboat excursion to the BallestasIslands. On the way to the islands observe the "Candelabro". Arriving at the islands, watch sea lions and seabirds and, if lucky, you might even see one of the famous Humboldt penguins.In the afternoon transfer to Nazca, on the way stopping at Ica city, the oasis of Huacachina, to visit the IcaRegionalMuseum and a local winery.
Day 03 - Scenic flight of the Nazca Lines (approx 40 minute flight). (Distance Nazca to Lima: 460 Km) Enjoy an early morning scenic flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines. From the air you will be able to see these famous giant figures of the ape, the astronaut or the whale, amongst many others, which were created with an impressive precision about 1500 years ago. Many theories exist about the origin of these lines with some even holding UFO’s accountable for their creation. Later return by private guided transfer to Lima along the Desert and Panamerican Highway. (approx 7 hours)
