Explorer was founded to encourage a new way of travel in the remote region of the Southern tip of South America. Their philosophy of travel is to explore the natural and cultural environment of the remote, organizing explorations with a spirit of adventure and attention to security.
Located on a hill in the southwestern zone of Easter Island, Explora is located just under 6km from Hanga Roa - the only town on the island. Volcanic rock and native wood are the principle materials used in the construction offering a rustic feel enhanced by it's modern interiors. The 30 guestrooms spread out from a central area that houses reception, living areas, a bar and kitchen. Next to the common areas is the Casa de Baņos Hare Vai with a pool, massage salon and open-air Jacuzzis.
Every day, Explora offers both easy and more challenging walks that, one by one, unveil the secrets and beauty of the island. These walks are combined with picnics on rocky outcrops or along the shore, always in mesmerizing sites. Each day choose between 5 or more different explorations, specially selected according to climatic conditions, guests' preferences, length and difficulty.
You may choose either a 3 or 6 night stay which includes round trip transfers between airport and hotel; accommodation with full board including beverages during meals (water, fruit juices, soft drinks, house wine) and bar (soft and alcoholic drinks); daily guided explorations.
