Hotel O`Tai is a pleasant family owned hotel located just 10 minutes from the airport in the centre of Hanga Roa, the main village on Easter Island. The hotel is within walking distance to the market, and general stores. Rooms are surrounded by well tended gardens and the property also features a swimming pool.

Day 1: Papeete / Easter Island
On arrival in Easter Island you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon visit Ahu Vinapu, Hanga Te`e and Hanga Poukura.

Day 2: Easter Island
Today embark on a full day excursion to include Anakena Beach surrounded by palm trees, archaeological restorations and coral white/pink sand with clear blue transparent waters; Ahu Te Pito Kura, know as the `Earths belly button`; Rano Raraku an ancient volcano known as the Moai`s factory where you can witness close to 400 statues abandoned in different stages of construction; Ahu Tongariki, a recently restored Moai site whose natural beauty will leave you in awe and Akahanga, a platform featuring Moai and remains of human settlements. A Picnic lunch is included

 

Day 3: Easter Island / Papeete
This morning see the wall paintings of Ana Kai Tangata, a cavern located on the side of Rano Kau. Enjoy views of the whole island from the crater of Rano Kau and visit the restored Orongo Village on the rim of the volcano. This afternoon visit Puna Pau, an archeological centre where the Moai`s headresses were carved; Ahu Akivi, an archaeological complex featuring 7 statues facing the ocean restored in 1960; Ahu Huri A Urenga a restoration with one unique statue facing the sunrise and finally Ahu Vai Teka where a large number of caves and waterholes can be found.

This evening you will be transferred back to the airport for departure to Papeete.
