Explore the wonders of Nadi and Denarau Island
Nadi
The third largest town in Fiji, Nadi is located on the western side of Viti Levu and is just 9km from Fijis main international airport. A hub of commerce and tourism, Nadi is home to the Botanical Gardens and the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, which houses a magnificent orchid collection. There is a variety of duty free shopping available and the public market is a haven for handicrafts and wood carvings.
Denarau Island
Now a major tourism complex, Denarau Island is separated from the main island of Viti Levu by a tiny causeway and is home to world-renowned resorts including Radisson, Sofitel and Hilton. Just 20 minutes from Nadi International Airport the area boasts an 18-hole championship golf course, a golf and racquet club and a 30 berth marina, positioning Denarau as one of the leading integrated tourism destinations in the South Pacific. The area also thrives as a major transit hub as the main departure point for cruises and sea transfers to the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands.
