Uncrowded, unhurried and still largely undiscovered, Tonga is often described as the real Polynesia. This 170 island archipelago offers visitors a variety of different scenery, from tropical atolls, coral reefs and untouched beaches to active volcanoes and virgin rain forests.  The amazing reefs and crystal waters support an abundance of marine life and from June to October the giant Humpback Whales migrate from the southern oceans offering visitors an amazing sight.
